Beautiful views from the hotel rooms.
First, the breakfast was completely chaotic with long waits and food quality was poor. To make matters worse, the staff seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful. The room conditions were disappointing. It felt outdated and dirty with worn out carpets.

Our standard king room was equipped with central heating, a private safe, and multi-channel television. Greatly enjoyed the location down by the lake. The staff was very friendly with excellent services😃

View of the sea was absolutely gorgeous, the room was spotless and airy. The breakfast was included, it was fine. It was in a marvellous location close to the produce Israel has and Tiberias.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was bad.

The location of golan is fantastic, offering beautiful views. The swimming pool is a nice addition for families. I loved the pampering options available, like the special VIP massage rooms which really added to our stay!

The setting (quiet neighbourhood, although a distance from the city centre), the accessibility (by car), the view from the room and the bar terraces (Tiberias Lake), the buffet dinner (plenty of choice at a reasonable price), the chance to use the swimming pool.
No room service on the day of our arrival (but it was during Pessach).

Amazing views of the lake from our room.
The breakfast options were limited and not fresh on the second day.

We found the staff to be very accomodating and helpful when planning days out. Whenever we had a query or issue they always did their best to aid us. Very impressed with customer service at this hotel.
We were disappointed with the lack of swimming pool, as we were given the impression when booking that there would be one available to all guests. We also thought that it would be a very short distance to the Galilee shores due to the location on the map and the descrIpton given on the website. However in fact one needed to walk to the bus stop, take a bus and then walk to the shoreline.

Nice view, good breakfasr, very good piano player on Saturday evening.
Even though free wiFi was advertise, it was offered at cost, and then it did not work at all. Poll anf jacizzi were still under construction, as were some other parts of the hotel.

The fine views of the sea from my room added to the charm. The evening activities and live music around the pool were a good touch.
breakfast options were lacking variety.

The Golan Hotel is excellent. I spent there a weekend with my wife and had a great time. The hotel has good infrastructure, it's a new building with new forniture and equipments. The room was very confortable with an amazing view of the lake Kineret (Sea of Galilee). The hotel has a huge salon with a bar and the service is great. Besides that they have a nice jacuzzi and sauna.
The only thing the hotel needs to improve in my opinion is the breakfast. I was expecting more... But the food is ok, israeli style breakfast.

The Golan Hotel was clean and the lobby was comfortable and quite nice. We had coffee in the lobby and the price was the same as what we would pay in any coffeeshop, quite reasonable. There is a good gym with quite a few machines and a television that was easy to operate. The jacuzzi was great: it seemed new, had a nice view and a sun-porch that got good sunlight during the morning hours. There is a wet and a dry sauna. (The pool wasn't ready to open yet.) There is a washline in the bathroom which helped alot as we were able to dry our bathing suits overnight. The neighborhood is a combination of hotels and residential. The city is a short drive away, but quite far for a walk. The staff was friendy. The breakfast was quite good, in typical Israeli style with a huge selection of cheeses, etc.
My only suggestions for improvement are to provide a bit more "condiments" (shampoo, hand creme) in the bathroom, and not to charge for using the hotel computer. None of the hotels I was in in the US, Italy, and Canada charged to use the hotel computer. But in general, it is a very nice hotel and a great deal for what we paid.

Clean and spacious rooms. Quiet neighborhood.
We booked rooms with sea view and balcony, with non-smoking preference. We got first smoking room, then non-smoking but with no balcony. There was no pool in hotel even though can be seen in pictures! Big disappointment to our children. Hotel first overcharged us. In breakfast, cheese melt due to hotness and some articles finish.
